Burmester 175: the company’s first turntable, to celebrate its 40th anniversary

The electronic circuit is based around the company’s 100 outboard unit.

This turntable looks big, bold and bulky with a metal plinth and a platter featuring a layer of brass between two aluminium layers. Bitumen then aids anti-resonance performance.

The carbon/aluminium arm sits on a steel/ceramic bearing

 

The motors are placed are positioned around the sub-platter holding four belts

Price is  €30,000.
