The Clinamenaudio Calabi-Yau aims for a “high transduction efficiency”, according to the company and uses a 305mm bass woofer, made from cloth and paper with an aluminium basket, backed by an Alnico magnet

The rear of the woofer is a ‘door’ by with you can tune the frequency of the unit from 90 to 50hz, depending on the room.

The crossover components include Clarity Cap capacitors (air coils with copper wire OFC Litz), as well as the internal wiring made of silver-plated copper wire Clinamen isolated teflon.

The tweeter is suspended from springs, in order to lower vibration.

The speakers are covered with a lacquered or a colour to be chosen by the customer or a natural birch plywood finish.
